Everything you need to know about ordering a custom photo mosaic from AtelierMosaics.

How does the process work?

After placing your order you'll receive upload instructions by email. Send us one main photo and at least 200 smaller photos via Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, Shutterfly, or directly to support@ateliermosaics.com. We create your mosaic and send a digital preview for your approval before anything is printed. Once you approve, we produce and ship your order.

How many photos do I need?

At least 200 for a good result. 500–1,000 gives the richest, most detailed mosaic with the best colour variety. Duplicates are fine — we can repeat photos without it being noticeable.

What should my main photo look like?

A clear, close-up portrait works best — well-lit, in focus, and as high resolution as possible. Faces work far better than wide landscapes or large group shots. The closer the crop, the more detail shows in the final mosaic.

Can I see the mosaic before it's printed?

Yes, always. We send a full digital preview for your approval before printing anything. You can request adjustments at this stage.

What formats are available?

• Canvas Print — ready to hang, our most popular option
• Acrylic Print — premium, gallery-quality finish

From 16×20 inches up to 30×40 inches depending on the format. All size options are shown on the product page.

How long does delivery take?

• Digital File — 2–3 business days after receiving your photos
• Photo Print — 10–12 business days
• Canvas / Acrylic / Wood / Metal Framed — 12–14 business days

All timelines begin after we receive your photos, not from the order date.

How do I send my photos?

Via Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, Shutterfly, or directly by email to support@ateliermosaics.com. You don't need to organise or edit the photos before sending — just share them as they are.

Can I order just a digital file?

Yes. The Digital File option is delivered in 2–3 business days and is a popular choice for those who want to print locally, share with family, or keep the artwork digitally.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship worldwide. Shipping options and costs are shown at checkout based on your delivery address.

What if I'm not happy with the preview?

Let us know and we'll make adjustments. We want you to love the mosaic before it goes to print, so we'll work with you until it's right.

Can I include photos of different people or places?

Yes — the small photos can be anything you like. A mix of people, places, and occasions creates the richest and most colourful result.

What occasions work best for a photo mosaic?
